Mawthadraishan Peak is located on the way to Shillong near Nongshillong, in West Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya. On top of the range can be seen a depression with about 7 to 8 fish ponds. From the top of the peak one can have a panoramic view of the plains of Assam. The view of the Himalayas, on clear days, is a awesome experience.
