Mavli




Mavli is situated 50 km north-east of Udaipur on the road to Chittorgarh.

The place has great historical importance, as it was the battlefield during the battle fought between 18-year-old Maharana Udai Singh II of Mewar Dynasty and Banbir, who took the throne by himself, in 1540.

Mavli Junction Railway Station is a prominent railhead of Udaipur District.
