Maudaha




Maudaha is a prominent town and one of the taluks of Hamirpur District. This region, on the Kanpur-Sagar road is known for its fertile soil. The Ken and the Birma are the main rivers flowing through this town.

Maudaha Dam, built across the Birma, is the main landmark. There is a stone fort erected by Ali Bahadur, an erstwhile ruler of Banda.

Maudaha Bus Station serves the town. The nearest railway access, Ichauli Railway Station is about 18 km away. Nearest airport is Civil Airport Khajuraho.
