Matengeswar Temple is a highly revered shrine situated on the banks of Mahanadi River, in Boudh town of Orissa. The presiding deity here is Lord Shiva. There is also a separate temple for Goddess Parvathi.
The annual Shivratri, celebrated here, draws thousands of devotees from far and near.
