Mata Sundrikote Temple




Mata Sundrikote Temple is a holy shrine, located on the Shivalik Hills, in Kathua District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is on the old Kathua-Billawar mule track, about 7 km from Billawar.

Situated at an altitude of 1000 m, this hillock shrine can be approached by a flight of 107 steps. Near the temple, there is a Berry Plant from where the idol of the Goddess is believed to have been found.

Mata Sundrikote Temple is accessible from Kathua (22 km) on the Dhar-Udhampur road. The route passes through picturesque pine forests and wild bushy plants.
