Mashka




Mashka is a small village of Basholi taluk located in Kathua District, Jammu and Kashmir. It is near to the Chamera Power Project in Himachal Pradesh. Pathankot is about 60 km from here.

The village forms part of the Sewa hydroelectric project. The project has three units of 40 MW each at this village. The nearby places are Gatti and Sewa.

Ghagwal Railway Station, served by the Northern Railways, is the nearest railhead. Regular buses ply from Kathua, Basholi and Pathankot to Mashka.
