Marmala is an attractive stream and breathtaking waterfall situated near Erattupetta in Kottayam. This enchanting waterfall and stream is a popular picnic spot. The water falls down through rocky slopes to a depth of 61 m and gets collected in a 12 m deep pool. Since the road is not motorable one has to trek over numerous hillocks to reach this wonderful cataract. A natural bridge is seen under the waterfall. Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls is a nearby attraction.
