Marleshwar




Marleshwar, which literally means the ‘God of Marle village’, is a religious place located about 60 km from Ganpatipule, in Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra. Major point of attraction here is the Marleshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Marleshwar is 38 km from Sangameshwar and 21 km from Devrukh.

Every year on Makar Sankranti, thousands of devotees get together at Marleshwar near Devrukh city to attend the Marleshwar Yatra.

The glittering waterfall of Dhareshwar is another point of attraction. The place offers magnificent views of the Sahyadri Mountains.
