Maraguda Valley, situated on the upper reaches of the Jonk River, is a beautiful place of archeological importance. Many archeological findings of the ancient dynasties of Kalachuri and Koshala are located here. Another attraction is the Raitala dam near Maraguda. The dam site acts as home to large numbers of rare migratory birds.
