Maqbara

Maqbara is one of the oldest Mughal monuments in Vadodara, Gujarat. Built around 1586, it is the tomb of Qutbuddin - the army general of the great king Akbar. The tomb, built in Safavi Persian style, features beautifully carved marble windows. There is an old step-well in the large grounds surrounding it.
