Mansar




Mansar is situated 42 km from Nagpur. The artifacts dating back to the 1st century found in this place reveals that it was once inhabited by pre-historic man. This is one of the oldest inhabited areas in the country where remains of civilization, right from the early Stone Age to historical times, are available at the same site. Considering its historical value, Mansar is a good cultural and tourist center. The Bodhisattwa Nagarjuna Memorial Research Center and Museum is on the left hand side of the road leading to Ramtek from Mansar, at a distance of 1 km.

Mansar is on the on the Nagpur-Jabalpur national highway no.7.
