A major pilgrim center in Kasargod District, Manjeswar is situated 20 km south of Mangalore on the National Highway 17.

Dotted with temples and mosques of architectural splendor, Manjeswar is famous for the Anantheswar Temple. Two ancient Jain temples, on the southern bank of the Manjeswar River, is a major draw. The Govinda Pai Memorial, dedicated to one of the greatest poets of Kannada, is unique attraction of the place.

The place is also famous for Cashew plantations. Kanwatheertha Beach is 3 km away.

The closest airport is Mangalore Airport. Manjeswar Railway Station is on the Kozhikode-Mangalore line.
