Manikkeshvarar Temple is located at Rajarajapuram in
Viluppuram District. The deities of the temple are Lord Ravikula Manikkeshvarar and Goddess Kamaxi Amman. The temple was constructed by a Choza princess for her brother Rajarajan. The temple is rich in architectural works and there are inscriptions which reveal the significance of this temple and the place.
