Mandua




Mandua is an indigenous purse made by the Gaddi Tribe of Himachal Pradesh. These purses are hung from a woolen girdle called ‘dora’, which is worn around the waist.

Mandua purse exhibits bold patterns and colorful embroidery. It is embroidered with colorful silk threads. Small pieces of mirrors are fitted at the center for decorative purpose.
