Mandrapureeswarar Temple is located at Tiruvusathanam, 3 km north of Muttupettai railway station in
Tiruvarur District,
Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva (Mandrapureeswarar). There is a shrine for the Goddess Periyanayagi. The
teertham of the temple is Vinmala. Sambandar is said to have sung pathigams in praise of Mandrapureeswarar.
