Mandir Shri Laxmi Nath Ji




Built by Maharaja Rao Lunakaran, Mandir Shri Laxmi Nath Ji is situated on a mount in the middle of Bikaner. The temple is dedicated to Lord Laxminath Ji. The idols of Lord Vishnu and goddess Lakshmi in the state of embrace is present inside the sanctum sanctorum. This principal temple of Vaishnava sect is famous for its artistic architecture, elegant sculpture and beautiful colored pictures. Mandir Shri Laxmi Nath Ji is made of marble and red stone. The images of Shri Badrinarayanji, Shri Neelkanth Mahadev, Shri Roopchaturbujji, Shri Magavidyaji and Shri Suryanarayanji are also present inside the temple. Main events of the temple include Janmashtami, Nirjala Ekadashi, Ramnavami, Diwali and Geeta Jayanti. Aarti is performed four times a day. The temple is open in the morning from 5:00 to 13:00 hrs and in the evening from 17:00 to 23:00 hrs.
