Mandir Shri Goverdhan Nath Ji




Built in AD 1768 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singhji, Mandir Shri Goverdhan Nath Ji is situated in the Jaipur District of Rajasthan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Young Krishna is worshipped here. The idol is made of black stone having gray tinge of pigeon feathers. The worship is performed in the tradition of shri Vallabha Vaishnava sector. Worship is rendered 8 times a day. The temple has a magnificent entrance gate and a chowk. Janmashtami, Radhashtami, Annakuta and other Vaishnavite festivals are celebrated here.
