Mandir Marg

Mandir Marg connects Talkatora Road and Panchkuian Marg in central Delhi. It runs parallel to Ramakrishna Ashram Marg and is to the west of Connaught Place.

Mandir Marg’s earlier name was Reading Road, after Viceroy Reading, the only Jew to have ruled India. After independence, the road has been renamed as Mandir Marg.

The famous Laxminarayan Mandir (Birla Mandir) is located on the Mandir Marg while Talkotara Stadium is towards its southern end.
