Manchanbele is a scenic spot situated about 30 km from
Bangalore, on the Bangalore -
Magadi main road, near the
Thippagondanahalli Reservoir. It is surrounded by lush greenery and hills in every direction. Different species of birds are seen here. Nearby lies another dam called Manchanbele Dam, about 10 km off the
Mysore Road.
Manchanbele can be approached from Mysore Road via Big Banayan Tree. The nearest railway station and airport are at Bangalore.
