Manappad is a village located 18 km from Tiruchendur, in Tuticorin District, on the south-east cost of Tamil Nadu. An ancient Roman Catholic Church is situated here. The cross in this church is said to have been brought from Jerusalem. This church is also associated with St. Xavier, the famous missionary from West.
