Manamedu is a small interior village in
Tiruchirapalli District. The village is popular for the manufacturing of cotton voile fabrics in handlooms. The village produces fine and of good quality cotton voile fabrics in handlooms, specially meant for Indian traditional sarees, polyester auto loom fabrics and yarns.
Tiruchirapalli Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
