Man Sarovar is a holy tank situated behind the
Ambaji Temple, in
Banaskantha District of
Gujarat. It is said to have been constructed by Shri Tapishanker, a Nager Devotee of Goddess Ambaji from Ahmedabad, in 1594. There are two temples on either sides of Man Sarovar - one is of dedicated to Mahadev and the other is Ajay Devi – the sister of Mata Ambaji. Thousands of devotees as well as tourist throng here to take a dip in this holy water tank.
