This ancient village, 7 km from Raichur, is a place where history and natural beauty meet. The whole village is filled with sounds of birds such as peacocks, wild pigeons, and doves. Several ancient monuments of Vijayanagar period around here are impressive. The majestic fort existing here is a fine example of Chalukyan Art. A pair of carved six foot elephants are located inside the fort. Beautiful gateways around the fort also depict the architectural excellence of Chalukyas.
