Mallan is located in
Muktsar District of
Punjab. It is around 30 km south-east of
Muktsar.
Guru Gobind Singh along with his followers had passed through this village. Araamsar, a gurdwara built in the memory of Guruji, is the main attraction here.
Mallan is on Jaito - Muktsar road and is about 25 km south-west of Kotkapura. The nearest railway station is Gangsar Jaito Railway Station (16 km).
