Malia




Malia is a taluk headquarters town situated in the Rajkot District of Gujarat. Majority of the people are Hindus and agriculture is the main occupation. Groundnut, cotton and sugarcane are the chief crops.

Dhoraji, Gondal, Morbi, Wankaner and Upleta are the important places nearby. Major attractions include Mani Mandir, Wellingdon Secretariat and Suspension Bridge.

Rajkot Airport serves Malia. Wankaner Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. National Highway 8A passes through this town. The town is well-linked with Tankara, Jodia, Wankaner, Gondal and Jamnagar by road.
