Malabar Pepper Fest is a popular cultural event of
Kerala. It is a landmark marketing endeavor to promote a region. An annual festival, it is celebrated during the pepper harvest season.
The festival is organized by Silk and Spice in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Kerala. It is held at different venues in Kerala, and generally an ethnic village-like setting is the venue.
The enactment of Mamangam is one of the highlights of this festival. Several traditional art forms are also organized on this occasion.
