Majathal Sanctuary is located in
Solan District of
Himachal Pradesh. It has a steep and rugged terrain where numerous goral can be seen in its natural habitat. Majathal also has a number of endangered
cheer pheasant.
The sanctuary is 76 km south-east of Shimla. The best time to visit is during winter season.
