Mairwa




Mairwa is located in Siwan District of Bihar. It is also known as Mairwa Dham and is around 17 km west of Siwan.

Brahma Asthan shrine, built over the relics of Saint Hari Baba, is one of the major landmarks of the town. This shrine is locally known as Hari Baba ka Asthan. Other attractions in the town include Chananriyam Dih and a beautiful shrine on the bank of the Jharhi River. The fair is held here every year during Kartik and Chaitra months.

The nearest airport is at Patna. Mairwa Railway Station is on Chhapra-Gorakhpur rail route.
