Mainpurkoat




Mainpurkoat is a holy place, situated 8 km away from Padrauna on Kushinagar- Tamkuhi national highway, in Kushinagar District.

A small temple, dedicated to Goddess of Mainpurkoat, is placed on a mound. The remains of an old temple, including of statues and artistic objects, were found during the construction of the new temple.

There is also a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman here. Thousands of people visit Mainpurkoat during the time of Navaratri.
