Mahamuni Festival, one of the important fairs of the
Mogh Tribe, is held at
Manu Bakul in
South Tripura District of
Tripura. The fair is conducted near
Manu Bakul Buddha Temple in April.
During the festival the local people decorate their houses with arches and flowers, distribute Awam, wear new cloths and chant Buddha hymns. Many people throng here with great devotion.
Manu Bakul is about 18 km from Sabroom.
