Mahaleshwara Temple




Mahaleshwara Temple located in Kondapaka village, Medak District is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Ram.

Mahaleshwara Temple houses the huge shivling believed to have been brought from Kashi. Besides, there are many smaller shivlings. Ramaalaya houses the idol of Lord Ram. The temple follows both the Vaishnava and Saivagama modes of worship. During major festivals, a large number of devotees from every nook and corner of the region assemble here.

By road, Siddipet is only 12 km from here. The major railhead nearby is at Kamareddy and the nearest airport is Hyderabad Airport.
