Mahakavi Kumaran Asan Smarakam is situated at
Kumarakodi, on the banks of Pallana river, in
Alappuzha District. It is about 20 km south of
Alappuzha town.
This smarakam is the eternal resting place of the great Malayalam poet Kumaran Asan. There is a library, which houses the poems written by the great poet. The smarakam frequently organizes Kaviarang (congregation of poets).
