Mahadwani is a small town in Mandla District of Madhya Pradesh. It lies en-route to Shahpura, about 21 km north of Mohgaon and 20 km away from Niwas. The nearest major city is Jabalpur, which is 81 km west.
Lying towards the northern part of the district, Mahadwani is an ideal base for trekking enthusiasts. A trekking route form Majhgaon passes through the southern part of the town.
