Mahadeva Temple




Mahadev Temple is an 11th century shrine situated at Malwai Village, in Jhabua District of Madhya Pradesh. Built in Malwa style, this ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has exquisite stone carvings and images adorning its walls, which dates back to 12th and 13th century.

The temple has a rectangular platform but several conical columns rise from the base up to the kalash. The temple is now in a dilapidated state due to age and neglect.

Mahadev Temple can be accessed by bus from Jhabua Bus Station.
