Mahadeshwara Temple

Mahadeshwara Temple is situated on the top of the Mahadeshwara Hill in Chamrajnagar District. Lord Shiva is worshipped here in the form of shivling.

Pilgrims visit here for a holy dip in Antaragange, a perennial source of water, and have darshan of the Lord.

The main festival of the temple is Mahashivratri. Special puja�s are conducted at this time.

The temple is about 142 km from Mysore.
