Magnolia Liliflora is found largely in
Jammu and Kashmir. It is a deciduous shrub of Var-nigre family.
Liliflora likes partial shade or partial sun and moist soil. The plant is characterized by pear shaped, dark green leaves. The outer side of the flowers (slightly fragrant) is large deep purple, while inside is creamy white flushed purple.
