Madhva Temple




Madhva Temple is a renowned temple located at Udupi. Founded by Sri Madhva, the temple has idols of Sri Vadiraja and Lord Subramanya. Main attraction is the silver simhasan of Sri Madhva which is used by the chief priest. Madhva Sarovar festival, associated with the holy Ganges is celebrated with pomp and fanfare. Saptotsava is a 7 day festival held during January and is attended by thousands from every nook and corner of the region. Shree Krishna Temple and Shakti and Subramanya Temples are nearby attractions.

Mangalore Airport is about 35 km from here.
