Madan Sagar, built by Madan Verma during the 12th century, is a beautiful lake in
Mahoba of
Uttar Pradesh. It has rocky islets containing some ruins. The major attraction in the vicinity is Kakramath Shiva Temple, which is built in the Khajuraho style of architecture.
