Madan Kunj



Built about 150 years ago, Madan Kunj, once known as Khud Cottage, is an English cottage located in the western Shimla. Originally a regal property, it was formerly the summer residence of the governor of Burma during the Second World War, when Burma was under the control of the Japanese occupation.

This cottage, which is reminiscent of the colonial past, provides superb accommodation conveniences. The bedrooms are graced with parquet flooring, and are complete with TV and internal video facilities, provision for music and telephone and attached bath. There is a common lounge cum dining room to host recreational activities and dining needs.

Among the services and facilities are laundry, car parking facility and lawn. The service of doctor is made available.
