Madakasira

Madakasira is a Taluk headquarters situated in the Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh. The town lies 18 km south of Pavagada, 21 km west of Parigi and 8 km north of Govindapuram. It is situated about 111 km from Bangalore. Other major cities close to here are Tumkur (68 km), Bellari (140 km), Davangere (161 km) and Shimogga (189 km).
