Machher Jhole




Machher Jhole is a non-vegetarian dish of the fish loving Bengalis. The fish is first marinated and fried and then cooked in a gravy of ginger, cumin seed paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder and green chillies. Garlic is not used in the traditional cooking of this recipe. Machher Jhole is prepared on low heat and it goes well with rice.
