Machcheswarar Temple is situated in the East Raja Street of
Kanchipuram, in
Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines Lord Machcheswarar as the presiding deity. Machcheswarar hall is located near the temple. Belief is that, this temple was the worshipping place of
Lord Vishnu, in his Matsyavatar.
