Crisp fried fish
Maach Bhaja is a popular Bengali starter dish. Fish is coated with turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and lemon juice and kept aside for sometime. The marinated fish is deep fried in oil to golden brown and served garnished with chopped onions, tomatoes and coriander. Maach Bhaja goes well with steamed rice.
