Maa Hari Devi’s Temple

Maa Hari Devi’s Temple is situated on a small hillock in Bilaspur District of Himachal Pradesh. The temple enshrines only the eyes of the Goddess Hari Devi, which are being worshipped by the people. Hari Devi is the Kul Devi of the local people. The people offer bridegroom's sehra after their marriage in the temple.

Legend has it that queen Nagavdai had constructed this present temple. As she had no child, she had visited all shrines and prayed all deities for a male child. On night, Maa came in her dream and told her that if she comes to her temple with out ego and pride she will be blessed with a male child. After sunrise, queen went to Maa’s temple with great devotion. Her desire was fulfilled and she built a temple for the Goddess.
