M Chinnaswamy Stadium, formerly known as Karnataka State Cricket Association Stadium, is an international stadium located just 10 km from
Bangalore city. Named after M Chinnaswamy, the former president of the Karnataka Cricket Association Board, the stadium can accommodate more than 50,000 people.
National Cricket Academy functions in this stadium. This academy aims at the development of the young cricket talent in the country. The stadium complex houses badminton courts, swimming pool, health club and gymnasium. The famous Cubbon Park is located close to this ground.
