Lun is a small settlement located in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is an area inhabited by Tibetan nomads called Khampas. An ideal camping site for trekkers and mountaineers, the steep cliffs and mountains and the fresh air enhances the overall appeal. An exciting trail from Lun through the narrow valley takes trekkers to the top of the
Marang La.
Lun is approachable from Lungmoche and Sarchu.
