Ludiya




Situated near the Pakistan border, Ludiya is a small hamlet in the Kutch District of Gujarat. It is mainly inhabited by Kutch tribes and Muslims. The main attraction of the village is its beautifully decorated traditional homes called 'Bhungas.' The ethnic community of this region specializes in different forms of handicrafts. Their carved wooden furniture is renowned for its unique architecture. The village has acquired a prominent place on the rural tourism map of India, as it offers a perfect specimen of 'living heritage' and fine craftsmanship and culture. It falls in the tourist circuit of BhujGandhidhamMandvi–Kandla–Anjar–Rann of Kutch. Ludiya is about of 50 km from Bhuj and 10 km from Khavda. Bhuj Airport and New Bhuj Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
