Lowry Memorial College, formerly known as Seventh-day Adventist College, is located at
Krishnarajapuram, about 13 km from
Bangalore. It is named after Dr G G Lowry, a famous educationist and social worker of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The institute has a degree college, a pre-university composite college and a teachers' training institute.
The courses are approved by the Department of Education, Southern Asia Division of Seventh-day Adventists and Department of Education, Government of Karnataka. The degree college conducts bachelor courses in science, commerce, business management, and computer applications. Two year pre-university college program in science and commerce is provided in its pre-university college. The institution also runs a pre-primary, middle and high school program up to X standard.
The institute is close to the Krishnarajapuram Railway Station.
