Lokur

Lokur of Salem District is around 33 km north of Salem. This place, on the Tirupattur-Salem rail route, is close to the northern border of the district with Dharmapuri District. Danishpet is in the south and Bommidi in the north.

Lokur Railway Station serves the area. The hill station of Yercaud can be reached from Lokur.

Major access points are Salem Junction Railway Station and Salem Airport.
