Local Antiquities Museum is an archeological museum located at
Chitradurga, in
Karnataka. Established in 1951, the museum exhibits a rich collection of arms, sculptures, portraits, manuscripts, neoliths, coins, beads, Pottery, ivory, sculptures, iron objects, glass, ivory, pottery, terracotta and modern sculptures.
The museum also houses a well equipped library. Guide services are offered to the visitors on request. Photography is allowed upon obtaining permission from the director.
Local Antiquities Museum is open from 9:00 to 17:00 hrs on all days, except Mondays and public holidays.
